(July 27, 2011) — With the 30-day AMA Pro Racing test ban going into effect next week, this weekend, July 30-31, marks the final opportunity for AMA Pro racers wanting to practice at New Jersey Motorsports Park’s Thunderbolt course without an AMA Pro Racing penalty. Mark Rozema, of Markbilt Racebikes, will be offering trackside suspension tuning this weekend at Thunderbolt in conjunction with motorcycle track-day provider Absolute Cycle Experience. In addition to its normally scheduled, four-group, seven-session-per-group track day, Absolute will host an open test-and-tune session for licensed racers from 5:00-6:30 on Saturday and Sunday.
