Special Stuff To Celebrate 20th Year Of GSX-Rs

Suzuki Commemorates GSX-R 20th Anniversary With Special-Edition Models and Accessories New jackets, helmets and other commemorative gear celebrate two decades of the world-renowned sportbike line BREA, Calif. – Suzuki Motor Corp. marks the 20th anniversary of its hugely successful GSX-R line with special-edition models, riding gear and apparel intended to celebrate the impact of one of the world’s most dominant brands of sportbikes. To commemorate the global success and popularity of the groundbreaking GSX-R brand, originally introduced to riders in 1985, Suzuki launches 20th anniversary special-edition models of the GSX-R750 and GSX-R600 bikes. These models pay homage to the original GSX-R by blending “retro” color schemes with special commemorative graphics and new features. But Suzuki isn’t stopping there. For riders wanting commemorative gear to go with their commemorative bikes, Suzuki is introducing special-edition riding gear and apparel including a 20th anniversary Shoei helmet, leather riding jacket and textile jacket designed with graphics from the original 1985 GSX-R750 and 20th anniversary GSX-R750 and 600 models. The company is also offering commemorative T-shirts showing the classic GSX-R design at four distinct periods during its 20 years of street and track dominance. The GSX-R 20th anniversary riding gear and apparel will be available April 1st at participating Suzuki motorcycle and ATV dealers. Supplies of special-edition, commemorative merchandise are limited.
