SPEED TV Announcement: AMA Pro Races Will Be Aired Same-day Delayed Starting In July

AMA Pro races will be aired on SPEED TV on a same-day delayed basis starting in July, according to an announcement made by Ralph Sheheen during this afternoon’s delayed broadcast of today’s World Superbike Race One from Miller Motorspors Park. The race started at 12:00 noon local time and the race broadcast started at 3:00 p.m. local time. In making the announcement, Sheheen confirmed that SPEED TV has heard fan complaints about coverage of AMA Pro races being aired one or two weeks after the fact, “loud and clear.” The first AMA Pro races aired on a same-day delayed basis will from be the July 4th weekend event held in conjuction with MotoGP at Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
