SPEED TV’s Greg White to Race for Injured Vicki Schouten in Calgary Ottawa, Ontario- SPEED TV’s Greg White will replace injured Kahuna Powersports Kawasaki rookie Pro rider Vicki Schouten at the upcoming round of the Parts Canada Superbike series in Calgary, Alberta June 24-27. Schouten, who sustained a broken right foot, including a compound fracture in a qualifying heat race last month at Shannonville Motorsport Park, is unable to race the doubleheader weekend at Calgary as she is still healing from surgery that required seven pins and a plate to be installed in her foot. “I have been working with the doctors and my trainer to get back on the motorcycle as quickly as possible,” said Vicki, “but Calgary is just a little too soon. It is important that I heal properly so I can come back strong and not cause any further damage to my foot. I am really grateful that Greg has agreed to race on my behalf in Calgary and I think he will bring a lot of value to our sponsors and the team.” Greg will pilot the Kahuna Powersports-backed Kawasaki ZX-6R in both the Pro Sportbike and Pro Superbike classes in Calgary. He will be outfitted with Alpinestars leathers and gear and will run Motul oil and Galfer braking products over the course of the weekend. Mechanical support will come from crew chief Jason Sterling who will ensure the ZX-6R is set up to meet Greg’s needs. Stop by and say hello to both Greg and Vicki who will be on hand all weekend for rounds #2 and #3 of the Parts Canada Superbike series.
