Matt Lapaglia (Suz GSX-R1000), 1:45.778 More, from a press release issued by Jordan Suzuki: JORDAN SUZUKI CAPTURES TWO POSITIONS ON FRONT ROW Aaron Yates and Jake Holden to Start Second and Third at Fontana, CA Fontana, CA (April 28, 2007) Michael Jordan Motorsports Suzuki’s Aaron Yates and Jake Holden have both qualified for the all Suzuki GSX-R1000 front row at Sunday’s AMA Superstock race at the California Speedway. Yates, who will start from the second position, had a qualifying time of 1:25.203 only .399 seconds from pole sitter Ben Spies, while Holden qualified with a time of 1:25.237, good for third. In last week’s Superstock race at Barber Motorsports Park, Yates captured the Jordan Suzuki team’s first-ever victory, with Holden finishing right behind in second place. With today’s promising qualifying results, the teammates hope to keep last week’s momentum going. Both Jordan Suzuki riders will also compete in tomorrow’s AMA Superstock race. The riders and crew will return to racing action May 18-20, 2007 at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA.
