Sportbike Track Time Has New Owner, Announces “Sportbike Track Girl” Women’s Division

New Name Reflects Success of Sportbike Track Time Family of Brands and Reemphasizes STT’s Dedication to Women in the Sport Holland, MI –It was announced today that the previous women’s division of Sportbike Track Time has assumed the new name of Sportbike Track Girl, effective immediately. Sportbike Track Time, the parent company of Sportbike Tire Service and Sportbike Track Girl, is under new ownership and management. “The name change was a critical step in order to better identify Sportbike Track Girl’s mission, products and services” according to new owner, Richard Harris. Sportbike Track Girl is a women’s track day organization that focuses specifically on empowerment; through on-track instruction, education, access to women-specific gear and discounted products and services. The new name draws upon the company’s significant brand recognition in its Sportbike Track Time and Sportbike Tire Service divisions. “The name change to Sportbike Track Girl will also build on a strong existing market position– which will expand as we reinvent the old brand,” said Richard Harris, president and Owner of Sportbike Track Time. The name change to Sportbike Track Girl also reflects the company’s comprehensive portfolio of track day riding products and services. For years, STT has been a leader at offering a professional track day experience, as well as one of the nation’s most comprehensive performance riding educational programs / curriculum. STT recognizes the tremendous growth of the female motorcycling demographic in recent years, and will put forth a dedicated effort to draw more women to the track. Now, the collaboration of Sportbike Track Time, Sportbike Tire Service and Sportbike Track Girl offer a single source for sportbike riders to enjoy a full-service track experience. “The Sportbike Track Girl name more clearly embodies our commitment to advocating, educating and supporting women in the sport. Our goal is to provide female sportbike riders a safe, comfortable and confidence-building atmosphere through services, on-track instruction and education. We focus on encouraging women in a predominately male sport; so that she receives the moral, technical and mental foundation to succeed–however she defines “success”, says Christi Midlam, Director Sportbike Track Girl. Sportbike Track Girl is launching a new Facebook presence as well as a comprehensive website (www.sportbiketrackgirl.com). Both will be available to the public in March, 2011.
