SPORTBIKE TRACK TIME PERFORMANCE RIDING EVENTS RETURN TO THE MOST EXHILARATING TRACKS IN THE COUNTRY Holland, MI Sportbike Track Time, presented by Triumph Motorcycles, is charging into 2013 by hosting its performance riding events at 12 of the most thrilling road courses in the country. This year’s schedule kicks off on March 9 and 10 at Alabama’s Barber Motorsports Park and runs through early December at Florida’s Jennings GP. Other tracks include Virginia International Raceway, Road Atlanta, Road America, Little Talladega, Grattan Raceway, Gingerman Raceway, Autobahn Country Club, Putnam Park, NCBike and Carolina Motorsports Park. “We received fantastic feedback from the men and women who rode in Sportbike Track Time and Sportbike Track Girl events last year,” said Richard Harris, owner of Sportbike Track Time. “We’re giving riders even more opportunity to ride at a wider variety of tracks this year, and rider slots are already being reserved.” Sportbike Track Time track days are open to riders of all skill levels and are designed to provide maximum track time during the weekend and weekday events. Riders choose their own skill group while experienced track coaches are available to help riders improve their riding ability and confidence in themselves and their machine. Returning to the 2013 schedule are the popular Sportbike Track Girl events. These all-female “Ladies First” track days provide female sportbike riders the opportunity for on-track instruction and connects them with industry professionals, specialty products and services. Other special events for 2013 include the TRACKFEST weekend with live music, dyno testing and a BBQ cook-off that is set for August 3 and 4 at Michigan’s Gingerman Raceway. A Pro School event, which prepared intermediate and advanced riders to enter their first club level race, is scheduled for Michigan’s Grattan Raceway on June 3. Sportbike Track Time has also updated its membership program for 2013 with enhanced benefits that eliminate late sign-up fees, add a $10 per day discount off the regular daily track time fee and provide members with special prices on Michelin tires with free mounting. A military discount of 15% is also available to active and retired armed forces service members.
