Attack Performance has been granted a wild card entry for the two American rounds of the FIM MotoGP World Championship, July 27-29 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and August 17-19 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Attack Performance’s wild card lists Steve Rapp as the rider and Attack Performance as the “Machine Constructor.”
Getting the wild card approval early is important due to the obviously lengthy process required to design, build and test a motorcycle that will fit within the new Claiming Rule Team (CRT) structure.
Attack Performance, a high-performance motorcycle parts manufacturer based in Huntington Beach, California, specializes in triple clamps, shock linkages and other chassis parts. The company successfully raced its own Kawasaki ZX-10R in the 2011 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike Championship and at the 2012 AMA Pro Superbike season-opener at Daytona International Speedway.
More details will be reported as they become available.
