Ian Hutchinson this week launched his first official website, Hutchyracing.com. The site will be the online information resource to find out how Ian is preparing for the season ahead, together with exclusive news, reports and all the results as the season unfolds. Ian, backed this year by Padgett’s, will contest in the North West 200, TT , Ulster GP and Macau GP and will have brand new 600cc Supersport and 1000cc Superstock machines at his disposal for the respective classes whilst he will use the same Honda Fireblade that John McGuinness took to victory in last year’s Senior TT, for the Superbike classes. The machine will be upgraded to 2009-spec with the team using Dunlop rubber in all 3 classes giving him every chance of victory at the International road races. Commenting on the season ahead Ian said, “I hope to build on my success at the TT and I’m firmly focused on the year ahead. I’m pleased to be associated with Bike Devil and Dunlop tyres again after a successful year with them both in 2007 and although I’ve yet to secure a ride in the British Championship, my immediate focus is on the North West 200 and TT. I’m training hard and have a full schedule of pre-season testing planned, alongside the other Honda riders and its a superb deal for me” The website will have all the latest news from Ian Hutchinson. Exclusive photographs will also be updated on the Hutchy Gallery and Ian will also be writing regular Blogs to keep everyone up to date on how he prepares for each race and his feedback thereafter. Users will be able to leave messages for Ian there too. Ian’s latest Blog gives his feedback after testing recently in Spain. “Hi all, at last I have been out on a race bike again and it has been well worth the wait. I flew out to Spain to meet up with the team at Almeria and got straight out on track on the Honda CBR600, I managed to fit in over 60 laps in on the day and having ridden for Honda in 2007 it was like putting on an old set of slippers, the bike felt amazing and I was straight back into it. We left there and travelled up to Guadix for another 3 days,…” To read the full Blog and check out all the latest news and photographs for Ian bookmark his new website at hutchyracing.com
