Sunoco and American Flat Track sign multi-year renewal starting in 2017

Sunoco named Official Fuel of American Flat Track for ninth consecutive season

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 21, 2017) – American Flat Track and Sunoco are proud to announce a renewed multi-year partnership in 2017 naming Sunoco as the Official Fuel of American Flat Track. Sunoco has had a long-standing relationship with American Flat Track and will continue to support the sport with the Sunoco Go the Distance Award, which will be presented to athletes in both AFT Twins and AFT Singles classes.

Returning for a ninth consecutive season as the Official Fuel, Sunoco Supreme 112 will be the exclusive fuel used in American Flat Track competition for 2017. The quality and consistency of Sunoco Supreme 112 fuels the intense competition amongst the best Flat Track racers on the globe week in and week out.

The Sunoco Go the Distance Award will be presented to the top three finishers in both AFT Twins and AFT Singles classes who have accrued the most mileage during competition sessions over the course of the 2017 season. The awards will be distributed at the year-end banquet.

American Flat Track will kick off the 2017 season during Daytona’s Bike Week festivities on Thursday, March 16 with the all-new DAYTONA TT, built inside the tri-oval at Daytona International Speedway. The DAYTONA TT will mark the dawning of a new era for America’s most historic form of motorcycle racing, and the “World Center of Racing” will serve as the first battleground for the great American war between Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles in 2017.
