Super Dave to Race with Three or More Endurance Teams at Topeka to Benefit Cancer Charity Eagle, WI – Veteran Road Racer “Super” Dave Rosno will be racing for at least three endurance teams during the Championship Cup Series Team Challenge race at Heartland Park Topeka on April 27th. Last year, Dave Rosno and his teammate, Tim Hull, finished first in GTU and second overall in the event raising nearly $1000 in purse money and trackside donations for the Kansas City Ride For Kids’ Rosno has committed to race with three teams, Team Oversprung, Team Silverback, and Livewire Racing, during the Team Challenge event. “I’d love to come away with another win, or at least be a part of other successful teams in the event,” Rosno states. “Last year was almost a storybook ending for us. We had an honorary pit crew with pediatric brain tumor survivor Noah Sanchez and his family. This year, we’re hoping to bring more families out for the event. Had we had a little quicker pit work with our fuel, I think we would certainly have taken the overall win. The reality is that what our play time on the bike doesn’t compare to what the kids have to go through, and that’s what this is all about for us: generating funds for research to extend lives and potentially end cancer.” “Super” Dave would entertain riding for more teams at Topeka if it can benefit the program. Interested parties can contact Rosno at [email protected] or at 262-902-9105. In addition, Dave will donate his purse money from American Sportbike Racing Association races to the Kansas City Ride Kids program. He started Super Dave’s Race Against Childhood Cancer was in 2003 in memory of his mother who passed away in 1995 from cancer, and his father in 2005.
