Supersonic Racing Team Officially Introduced In Italy

The presentation from the Supersonic Racing Team 2011 was held at the Bodadilla Club, Dalmine in Italy. A wonderful event in one of the “places to be” at Lombardia with the presence from Chris Friggeri, Head Motor Sports Division, from the A & J agency that takes care of the image and the sponsors of the team. The evening was attended by a large public including famous sports and entertainment personalities. The attention at the evening was focused on Danilo Soncini, founder and owner of the team and its new rider, Maxime Berger. Danilo Soncini started with a brief history of his team, and explained after the reasons which have led to choice Maxime Berger: “experienced and young rider, young just like the team”. After, the full team went on stage of the Bergamo club to receive the “Gioielleria Arando” award, dedicated to the teams revelation in the 2010 World Superbike Championship. Luca Scassa, the Supersonic Racing Team revelation from last year was also present, the rider from Arezzo was proud for been part from the Supersonic team. “Our way is now divided”, said Luca, who will race in World Supersport this year, “but our friendship will remain.” Maxime Berger thanked Danilo Soncini for his dream to race in Superbike. Maxime explained about the tests in Cartagena, Portimao and the Motorland Aragon. “It will be soon my first World Superbike race”, said Maxime, “it is our goal to get always some points in the top ten, but I have to learn many things to exploit the full potential of my Ducati.” Then, Berger and Soncini removed the veil and showed the new livery from the Borgo Panigale Ducati 1198 with the red, black and white colors, with the gray fuel tank. Really nice and aggressive. At the end of the evening, Roberto Locatelli, the 125 World Champion from 2000 and current Sports Director from team Italy GP 125 came on stage together with Ivano Brugnetti, Olympic Champion and Matthew Tagliarol, Gold Medal holder (Beijing 2008). Alo present during the evening was Patricia Hnateck, Diego Conte and Alessandro Genova, Simona Salvemini, Vanessa Ravizza, Beppe Covertini and several journalists from sports and entertainment.
