A statement from Ed Sorbo, a longtime friend of Jim Lindemann who purchased Lindemann Engineering earlier this year, and who worked with Lindemann until his death: “I met Jim Lindemann in 1998, when I was racing the 250cc GP class in the AMA series. Jim was a guy who was willing to help out a broke rider trying to string it together and race Nationals. He got me thinking about suspension in the right way. We tried to focus on the big picture, the goal, and then try to make that happen. He would always be willing to listen to new ideas. You could always see the gears turning. “I’m sad that my friend is gone.” Editor’s Note: Ed Sorbo bought Lindemann Engineering, Jim Lindemann’s suspension tuning company, earlier this year and moved it from Campbell, California to Mentone, California after Lindemann became too sick to continue its operation. Lindemann, age 56, had battled brain cancer for years and had undergone several operations and chemotherapy before passing away at 5:05 p.m. on Friday at home in Milpitas, California. May he rest in peace. Read more about Jim Lindemann here: ~http://www.le-suspension.com/about-lindemann-engineering/~
