SUZUKI APPOINTS NEW PR/MARKETING SPECIALIST

Outdoor Enthusiast Brings Creative Perspective To The Motorcycle/ATV Team

Brea, CA (June 27, 2018) – Today, Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (SMAI) is excited to announce Southern California native, Rachel Anderson has joined the company as press relations/marketing specialist for its Motorcycle/ATV division. With years of industry expertise and professional experience, Rachel will bring a fresh perspective and creative energy to the brand, while assisting the communications team in building and maintaining media relationships within the industry.

“We are thrilled to have Rachel on board,” said Kerry Graeber, Vice President MC/ATV Sales and Marketing for SMAI. “We have a lot of upcoming changes in the pipeline and we are excited to utilize her creativity and expertise in helping us to continue building the Suzuki brand. Rachel brings a high level of PR expertise and will be a strong addition to the team.”

Rachel adds, “It’s an exciting time to be a part of the Suzuki team and I’m stoked to see how the future unfolds for the brand. I’m fully confident that my efforts combined with the team’s diverse wealth of knowledge will bring a fresh identity to enthusiasts around the world.”

Rachel received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Utah Valley University where she served as the sports editor/reporter for the university’s news channels. Prior to her new role at Suzuki, Rachel has spent the last several years writing, planning events, facilitating media interviews and executing strategic PR campaigns for companies within the action sports industry including: Mountain Dew, Matix Clothing, Wheel Pros, GATORZ Eyewear and more.

In addition to her professional PR experience and diverse skill set, Rachel also has training in basic software engineering and QA technologies.

Born and raised in Orange, California, Rachel grew up as an action sports enthusiast, actively following and watching champions like Ricky Carmichael to action sport legends like Travis Pastrana. Her passion for the outdoor lifestyle stemmed from family pastimes and continues to drive her throughout her career and new role as the PR/Marketing Specialist for SMAI.
