Tarran Mackenzie moves to Supersport with GR Motosport

GR Motosport Ltd, continue with their ambitious plans in the 2016 MCE British Superbike Championship series, extending to a third year their collaboration with Tarran Mackenzie. The Sheffield based Team will drop its current involvements with the Pirelli National Superstock Championship directing its efforts with Taz in to the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship using the current Stauff Connect Academy Kawasaki ZX-6R.
20-year-old Mackenzie has had 2 very successful seasons with the team in Superstock 600, impressing everyone this season with his run to 3rd overall in the championship. Scoring 8 podiums, including 4 victories Tarran was always in the hunt for the 2015 championship, his race wins at Knockhill and the last round at Brands Hatch were his most impressive.
Development has already started on the bike, giving air to a confidence looking forward to the start of testing in the New Year..
