20-year-old Mackenzie has had 2 very successful seasons with the team in Superstock 600, impressing everyone this season with his run to 3rd overall in the championship. Scoring 8 podiums, including 4 victories Tarran was always in the hunt for the 2015 championship, his race wins at Knockhill and the last round at Brands Hatch were his most impressive.

Development has already started on the bike, giving air to a confidence looking forward to the start of testing in the New Year..

Tarran Mackenzie: “I am really happy to be moving up to the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship, staying with GR Motosport for a 3rd year. My Team WD-40 / Stauff Connect Academy have been fantastic for the last 2 years and we strong ambitions for 2016. I love the ZX6 and the set my Team has given me so I can’t wait to get started. #40

Brent Gladwin: I am excited to be moving Taz to the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship on his Kawasaki ZX6. We are keeping the ethos of the Academy going by moving him up while extending our values to our sponsors. There is quite a lot of extra track time in Supersport and with the 2 televised races there are fantastic brand exposure opportunities for the Team and all our partners.

We will be at Motorcycle live today Friday the 4th on stage with James Witham at 4pm. Our bikes and images are on display on the R&G and Scorpion stands. You can purchase the fantastic WD-40 Specialist Motorbike product range on ‘Bikerswear stand – Hall 3 stand number 3C50.

It is important to understand that without our sponsors the sport would be a poorer place so please take a moment to click on the links below to see what they all do and spread the word, Thank You !
