Airfence on the way to Symmons Plains Raceway With all issues regarding the licensing process for the Symmons Plains Raceway (Tas) having been resolved last month, the 2005 Australian Historic Road Race Championship will proceed as scheduled at the venue from November 26-28. Now, as part of the blueprint to elevate the circuit to a standard suitable for motorcycle racing, Motorsports Tasmania (MST), which manages Symmons Plains Raceway, has just placed an order for Airfence, which will be positioned at the Turn Four hairpin. Following the historic title, the Airfence will remain a fixture at Symmons Plains for subsequent motorcycle racing events. Supplementary regulations and entry forms for the 2005 Australian Historic Road Race Championship will be released within a week.
