Bradenton, Fla – When Round 3 of the AMA Pro Road Racing Series thunders into action at Barber Motorsport Park, May 1-3 in Birmingham, Ala., TeamHurtByAcccident.com will be looking to take their second win in the AMA SunTrust MOTO-GT Series and their first win in the AMA SuperSport class. Leading the charge to victory in the SuperSport East class will be Venezuelan ace Armando Ferrer who took a 4th last time out. In addition to contesting SuperSport, Ferrer will also team with fellow Venezuelan Rodolfo Ramirez in the MOTO-GT 2-hour event. “We took the MOTO-GT 1 Checkered at Atlanta,” echo both Ferrer and Ramirez who pilot the team’s No. 69 Suzuki GSX-R600. “Now we plan to do the same thing at Barber. We are currently ranked in fourth place, just 15 points out of the lead and that isn’t too many points to make up. We are definitely in the hunt for this year’s championship.” “We have really stepped up the pace this season,” explains team owner C.J. Czaia. “We have Armando working with a full time trainer and nutritionist which is something he had never done before. He is completely dedicated to the program and it won’t be long before it really pays off. He is an excellent talent and the training will serve to make him even better and will definitely help to give him that extra edge every racer searches for.” In addition to their GT1 effort, TeamHurtByAccident.com will also field two teams in the GT2 class, John Linder of Tampa, Fla., and Robert Fisher of Sarasota, Fla., will power a Ducati PS1000LE as will former 250cc champion Jim Filice. “We will be adding one more rider to team with Filice,” continues Czaia. “We have a rider in mind and are just waiting confirmation.” “Barber is one of the premier tracks in America for motorcycle races,” says Linder who took a second there last season. “It is wide, has 17 turns and lots of elevation changes and is a blast to ride. It is also both a challenging track and a thinking track and those are the ones I like the best.” “This is definitely a good series for us,” continues Czaia. “We have been involved since the inception and it is a true team sport that requires good pit strategy, well-prepared motorcycles and strong riders and it is that combination that makes it fun and exciting for everyone on the team. When the Green Flag signals the start, we will be all systems go, ready to take the win.” Headquartered in Bradenton, Fla., with offices in many Florida cities, Czaia & Gallagher P.A. is one of the larger personal injury and accident law firms in the state of Florida. Extremely involved in community activities, they are dedicated to supporting numerous causes including the March of Dimes Bikers for Babies, Family Health Centers, Herocare, Healthy Start and AFCAAM to name just a few.
