The first round of the Superbike World Championships will be held on Phillip Island circuit in Australia, from 25th to 27th February 2011. Phillip Island, the self-styled home of the Australian motorsports, is steeped in motor racing with the first car races having been held there on public roads in the 1920s. The circuit is blessed with breathtaking scenery and beautiful ocean views and it continues to provide some of the most spectacular racing in the Superbike seasons. Pedercini Kawasaki team performed two day of test on the Australian circuit, few days before the first world championship races and all the team are happy about the improvements in the set-up of their machines. Bryan Staring (he’ll race in his home circuit as a wild card) Roberto Rolfo and Mark Aitchison have found the two day of test of benefit and they look forward to the first races of the 2011 championship. We are in Mark and Bryan’s home country so we are really motivated because it’s like a home race for us. We are looking forward to Sunday and believe we can give a good performance for their fans. The championship looks like it’s going to get really tough this year, but we will be part of it!”
