Team Pro-Motion, now entering its 15th season, experienced a serious comeback in 2011 compared to the 2009-2010 seasons. “In 2011 membership and event participation were both up by over 20%, and the general morale of participants was high,” said Glen Goldman, the track riding club’s President. Track relations and business development have also been stronger with Team Pro-Motion set to unveil some exciting new projects in the very near future. The 2012 schedule now includes over 70 events with more still to be added and looks reminiscent of the 2005 era, when track-day interest peaked. New Jersey Motorsports Park will continue to be Team Pro-Motion’s home base, hosting upward of 50 days, on both the Thunderbolt and Lightning circuits. The Summit Point Raceway and Shenandoah circuits are again included, both being terrific tracks that lend themselves to riders who enjoy their unique differences and appeal. Back on the schedule from a lengthy break, is Carolina Motorsports Park and a renewed interest for Beaverun now to be known as Pittsburg International Race Complex will add more options. Finally, VIR, with multiple consecutive days throughout the season on the all-time favorite North course, which satisfies even the most demanding riders. Team Pro-Motion’s 12-year-long relationship with Pirelli is now complemented with the addition of the Michelin tire lineup. “We received many requests from riders who enjoy the Michelin brand, and this expansion addresses their needs while we continue to satisfy our established Pirelli customers,” said Goldman.
