Millville, NJ – New Jersey Motorsports Park has partnered with Team Pro-Motion, a North East/Mid-Atlantic based sportbike track riding organization and school. Together, NJMP and TPM will promote, market and advertise two wheeled spectator events. “It gives us great pleasure to announce our partnership with Glen Goldman, and his staff at Team Pro-Motion. With over 12 years in managing successful and safe track events, and our largest track rental customer, we plan to support their efforts in developing new and exciting programs for amateur and professional riders,” said NJMP General Manager Brad Scott. Team Pro-Motion will be focusing on the upcoming NJMP SportBike Championship Cup Racing Series events, June 25-27, July 23-25 and September 10-12, the AMA Pro Racing event September 3-5 and Team Pro-Motion’s own events; “Revv It” Up July 3-4, and “All Revved Up” during the AMA September 3-5 weekend. “This is truly an exciting time for us. To be involved with an awesome new track, and with staff who have great vision, so many possibilities exist” said Team Pro-Motion’s CEO, Glen Goldman. The first of four NJMP SportBike CCS racing rounds held in May were a great success. There were full grids, and racing was very exciting and entertaining for the many local fans who made their way to the park. “As a long time racer, it’s so good to see competitive motorcycle racing coming so close to Philadelphia, New York, Delaware and DC,” said Goldman. “I remember racing the NHIS/LRRS series, and the memory of Bridgehampton Raceway, now unfortunately a golf course, was the closest track to our metropolitan area. I couldn’t wait for Lee Brahin and his staff at NJMP to open this tremendous project, allowing so many locally talented racers and riders to once again come out and shine, showing off what they’ve got,” explained Goldman. With two first class road courses, racing will be held on Thunderbolt and Lightning during the series. For the second year, the AMA will again run on the 2.25 miles of silky smooth asphalt that Thunderbolt offers for the pro racing challenge. To learn racing at NJMP, Team Pro-Motion offers a new-racers school and many opportunities to ride on both tracks throughout the season.
