Kennesaw, Georgia This year Team Zyvax will be taking on a different role in motorcycle road racing. After a successful and multiple championship-winning 2010 season, Zyvax team owner JB Layman has decided to spend 2011 giving back to and supporting the sport as a whole. “Our sport is in need and I want to do what I can to help it get back on its feet,” said Layman. “The biggest issue is the bad economy lowering people’s ability to buy motorcycles and attend races.” In an effort to give back and help out, Layman will be spending his time this year working with organizations and racers to increase the excitement and support for the sport. To promote and support the sport as a whole, Zyvax will be attending and supporting grass roots events, track days, group rides as well as racing select WERA endurance events on Graves Motorsports-backed machines. At this time riders for those events have not been decided. “The suffering economy affects the entire racing community and we need to pull together as a group to get things moving in the right direction again,” stated Layman. “I feel that this year my time will be better spent working to help the sport recover than working on winning another championship.” Next year Team Zyvax will be back “on track” to win championships! Team Zyvax is sponsored by Zyvax, Inc, Graves Motorsports and Dunlop. www.teamzyvax.com
