Testing Rained Out Tuesday At Jerez

The second day of testing for the Repsol riders, Julián Simón and Esteve Rabat, was cancelled because of rain in Jerez today The gales that are affecting Spain, especially the south of the Iberian Peninsula, were the reason why training sessions scheduled for today at the Circuito de Jerez were not held as programmed. The Repsol 125cc. and 250cc riders Esteve Rabat and Julián Simón, just like the rest of their rivals on the World Championship grid, went to train at the Andalusian circuit for three days but had to stay in their pits today waiting for the skies to clear and the track to dry. However, they will have to wait for tomorrow and hope that conditions improve so that they can carry on getting used to their new bikes. Yesterday Rabat and Simón got out for the first ever time on the new KTM bikes that they will ride in the 2008 World Championship, and weather permitting they will take advantage of tomorrow´s sessions to continue working on their set ups.
