2nd edition of the 200 Miglia di Imola Revival A memorable weekend awaits you ! More champions, more Gentlemen drivers, more parades, more historical bikes, more sidecars”¦ Imola is at the verge of a major weekend that will take place from the 30th of September till the 2nd of October. Last year’s first edition was a complete success and the organisers have even done better for next weekend’s second edition of the 200 Miglia di Imola Revival. On top of the 200 Miles parade, featuring more than 50 renown riders including world champions such as Giacomo Agostini, Steve Baker, Christian Sarron, Phil Read and Dieter Braun, there will also be a parade for the 100 Miles just like in the past. At the occasion of this parade, we will be able to admire riders such as Don Emde, Lansivuori, Korhonen and Mortimer, alongside an impressive number of Italian ‘campionissimo’ like Fausto Ricci, Gianfranco Bonera, Fiorini Cimatti, to name a few. All riders will complete a few laps aboard historical machines, all in exceptional condition and still able to clock good lap times. But that’s not all ! We will also witness Agostini, Baker and Read discover riding aboard Jorge Lorenzo’s Yamaha M1. And then there’s also the magnificent exhibition showing the 50 years of Yamaha presence in the world of racing. Another exhibition that also is worth visiting is the one dedicated to Checo Costa, founder of the Moto Club Santerno and at the basis of numerous high-end Italian races. Souvenir shops, pit walk, dedication sessions and many other activities will allow the fans of classic bikes to dive into the racing atmosphere of the seventies. Information : www.200miglia.com
