CT RACING/Pirelli riders David Anthony and Joey Pascarella Dominate with Wins and Track Records at WERA West Round Two in Las Vegas, NV CT RACING/Pirelli tires had a victorious weekend at round two of the WERA West races held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this past Sunday, February 12. The weekend was filled with talented racers and some of the largest grids we have seen in recent years. The weekend’s first win kicked off with David Anthony riding his way to the Solo 20 race breaking the WERA 1000cc track record on lap 14. David racked up two more wins taking the Formula 1 and A Superbike races in convincing fashion. “It was a fun weekend and I felt good. I am very happy with my ADR Suzuki GSX-R1000, and I am looking forward to Daytona and the rest of the year racing as many club races a I can,” added David. Joey Pascarella dominated both 600cc classes with wins in C Superstock and C Superbike. Pascarella put in a brave ride on Sunday, considering he had no plans on racing after a small mistake in the Saturday Solo 20 race – which ended in a magnificent crash. Fortunately, he and his JonBlockGroup.com Yamaha R6 were able to win both Sunday races and break the (unofficial) 600cc track record on lap six of the C Superstock race. “I had a good weekend,” said Pascarella. “My bike was working great. My lap times were consistent and the pace was on target.
