About 26 years ago, an incredibly ignorant group of Yamaha FZR400 racers from Summit Point Motorsports Park decided to pool some money and field an FZR600 in the WERA 24-Hours of Nelson Ledges. With the confidence of inexperience, we stoked the furnace and poured our efforts and resources into the crucible.

Our first endurance race as Army of Darkness ended, like so many other race efforts involving FZR600s, with the transmission attempting to be in two gears at once and cracking the cases.  Fast forward through those 26 years, from 1993 to 2019 …
