Johnny Rock Page Superbike/Presidential Update: Daytona & Testing with ADR Superbike team at Homestead-Miami Speedway

Hello to Roadracing World Fans, Superbike Fans, MotoGP Fans, Jesus Lovers, JRP haters, Saints, JRP lovers, Friends, Family, all America, Motorcycle enthusiast, club & street racers and staff under the AMA Pro Racing organization.

First, I would like to share with you that I’m amazed at what is happening through me as much as many of you. As many of you know I never saw myself as a politician or actually running for President of the United States of America. As we age, we get to know ourselves better. I’ve always taken a great liking to people in general, always appreciating when I got to inspire people in the ways that I could. My name is Johnny Rock Page and I’m reporting to you from 10 stories high, overlooking the beautiful ocean on Daytona Beach in Florida. I’m enjoying some rest after testing with the Aussie Dave Racing team and other AMA Pro Superbike teams at Homestead-Miami Speedway near Miami and of course a wild exciting weekend after attending a well-organized event held by the AMA staff at Daytona International Speedway!

First, Daytona was a blast. I can’t begin to tell you what it felt like coming out of retirement so quickly after missing five consecutive cuts in a row. My confidence was not high, but hopeful. I was happily retired with so many great racing memories & connecting with so many awesome fans! It was overwhelming when I realized that I had to race at Daytona again, kind of embarrassing, too. So here the story goes.

I soon got over my own self concerns and realized that the only way I could make a political spark in the media to voice my great concern for our country was to qualify and race during the Superbike event at the opening race at Daytona! Sitting on my couch doesn’t do much good.

I realize that I’m not that fast and probably get in the way a lot of racers, however I’m the tail to the fastest and most talented racers in America, the elite 25 (approximate) AMA Pro Superbike racers. These guys are fast! Yamaha Gentleman Josh Hayes, Mr. “Birdie Man” Blake Young, Wild Boy Roger Hayden, Mr. Smooth Ben Bostrom, Quiet Man David Anthony are beyond my understanding how they are so fast. It’s a dream just to be on the same grid with these heroes of mine.

God makes us all in different ways, and we are used for different missions. That’s what I realize as I have gone through life now that I’m almost 44-years-young. None the less, just like you, I have my voice, and Roadracing World decided to follow my Superbike life and journey as I make my charge running for President of the United States of America in the way that things make sense to me and all the amazing supporters gathering now as we unite together behind this mission.

Dealing with all the preparation, money and time spent in advance not knowing the Daytona outcome regarding if I’m going to qualify or not, my only chance to be heard was to go for it in a backwards fashion with hope going into the weekend, expecting to qualify. All of it was on the line from my perspective and the supporters that were around me up to this point.

FOR MONTHS WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING REPUBLICANS FIGHT IT OUT IN THE PRIMARIES. SOME MIGHT SAY, “YOU ARE A LATE CONTENDER IN THIS ELECTION. WHAT SPARKED YOUR PARTICIPATION THIS LATE IN THE GAME?”

On January 1st, I learned President Obama signed the NDAA bill that allows the people in charge of our country to judge according to their own standards and put any American Citizen in jail indefinitely, with no trial, just by accusation alone, labeling any American citizen a terrorist.

There were several things that took place that created the path to Presidency, however that seriously pierced my heart when I thought of our children’s future in America. No U.S. citizen should be afraid of their government. It seems to pervert our Constitution to the point of nausea, if one thinks about it.” – Johnny Rock Page

I do have a book that is being written and expected to be available within a few months that explains the entire path, however here’s a part as to how some of it happened. I started voicing my pledge and plan to people I didn’t know in my home state of Arizona by going into living rooms. Then people started gathering around me, volunteering, liking my plan to restore trust between those in power in America and the Body of America, which feels betrayed and angry.

When people started to get excited and show support that made me very motivated. I enjoy being a part of good energy whenever possible, and I could see that America and its people were going to be very hurt over this negative energy, casting off a huge net of more Government control on its people, realizing that the body is very stressed out now and it’s only the beginning.

I made my flight from Arizona to Florida by two minutes (having missed my original flight the day prior) and got on the last plane to get to Florida in time for the first practice. I was thinking, “If this Southwest Airlines lady doesn’t get me on this last flight out, this must not be meant to be.” I couldn’t believe I missed the day of my flight.

Up to this point remember I hadn’t raced in a year, I have Superbike/Presidential posters with me and a campaign of staff all relying on me to qualify for Daytona as our needed spark! Luckily the burden I was carrying all came to rest when I got lucky and qualified. Happy to make the main event, spirits were high even though I ran out of gas after a few laps making an unneeded pit stop in Race One and a few off-track incidents during Race Two, like hitting false neutrals that sent me flying. I considered Daytona a huge success qualifying and getting 20th- and 19th-place finishes. We had our needed spark and “We’ll see what happens next,” I was thinking!

I handed out 200 special edition autographed posters and saw a lot of shock and awe happening as people realized what I was trying to accomplish!

After never racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway or ridden on the track before, I also missed the first practice session. And of course there’s Mr. Birdie Man letting me know what he thinks of me, as always, on my first few laps of an unknown track. Then there is Josh, who always is such a gentleman and apologizes if he tangles up with another rider. Josh and I tangled up at Homestead. Even though he came up to a group of guys — Trent Gibson, Jordy Burgess, and myself — asking if he almost took any of us out, we all said no. It didn’t occur to me that we almost crashed, I just assume that’s racing. Although I put in a text message to his wife Melissa, I never heard back from Josh.

I have to tell you, Birdie Man always intimidates me, to the point I try hard to stay out of the way of many racers. It gets uncomfortable at times. I think I liked birdie man more when he wasn’t winning. It’s a pretty intense feeling, like you belong half the time and are in the way the other half. If I could just get a little faster I could pass the back of the tail to someone else.

Maybe if the AMA Pro Superbike racers took a vote to see if they wanted me to stay or leave I would be happy to respect as they wish. I want to be a part and I want to keep getting faster, however the qualifying cut-off used to be 110% of the Superbike pole-sitter’s lap time, but as the percentage tightened up from 110% to 108% to 107%, the tail guy kept on being me as my skills improved little at a time, as I am fighting my age too.

I’m trying my best, I’ve reached out for help, but things didn’t work out. I really wished I was back on a Yamaha R1. I enjoyed Chuck Graves, Keith McCarty and the Yamaha Superbike, especially the great support they always gave me making me feel important.

After the test at Homestead-Miami Speedway I drove to Miami’s South Beach and met up with my good friend Paul Oakenfold at different clubs where he was DJ’ing. For those who don’t know, Paul Oakenfold with PERFECTO is a huge superstar in the music industry. He was on tour with Madonna and for a few years performed at The Palms Casino, filling the house.

Paul and I became friends when we met a long time ago. He didn’t know what Superbike racing was and I thought he was a DJ at weddings when he told me he was a DJ. The organic incredible friendship has taken its course. Having had a blast traveling and always being a part of Paul’s generosity to me as he shares the stage and fun with the fans with me in the spirit of our friendship, I’ve always placed Paul Oakenfold on my Superbikes and osters never asking anything further. Paul Oakenfold, movie star Jason Statham, Jimmy Summers, and Dean May all came to a Moto GP/U.S. Superbike event a few years ago. To me that was a dream come true as I wanted to see mainstream connect with our beautiful sport. During dinner and out doing some nightlife, Paul was telling everyone around that I’m running for President. I have to say it was a lot of fun and felt flattered he was so excited about what I’m doing.

I’m hoping to race at Road Atlanta and continue my charge as I campaign whereever I’m traveling. I will be handing out autographed special edition 2012 Superbike/Presidential posters, along with my “DREAM BIG ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE” bracelets to all people I come across. I hope to get financial help for my campaign soon. I will continue my charge in the best ways I know how to, as long as I feel America uniting behind my message, as they continue supporting my pledge to America.

During my beach outings during Ultra Music Fest 2012 I ran into a man who runs Airplane Banner Advertising. He checked out my site and told me that he supported my pledge, and coincidentally he use to support Obama however he said he feels so stupid for believing in Obama and was ashamed to admit that he supported and voted for Obama. Wrong guy to tick off I guess! Now, he runs “Impeach Obama” banners all around different places where people gather in large numbers. Anyhow he had no more slot times available with such a huge weekend of people gathering. However, he liked my video message so much that he rallied a few people with planes and ran banners over Miami South Beach’s busiest weekend, the 2012 Ultra Music Fest, saying: PRESIDENTJOHNNYROCKPAGE.COM with an American flag attached. Paris Hilton was even there, so it had to be huge, right?

Oh, and in final before running off to relax at my Daytona Beach rental 10-stories-high, while I was on South Beach watching in the sky a PresidentJohnnyRockPage.com banner flying over head, I recorded it and then ended up meeting two young men who on video were a part of this special moment and then flamed me with a discussion in the middle of my moment on one of the most controversial subjects regarding the legazlisation of medical marijuana. Check out the video on You Tube attached. I was not a part of voting on medical marijuana, however I support majority vote.

Anyhow, I’m on a journey and I hope you will follow my story as it unfolds. Until then I will continue charging ahead, and I hope you find somewhere in your heart to find support for a man like me.

Peace and Love to all. God bless America as we transition into some interesting times!
