Thrashed Bike Racing previews April 15 Round 3 of the ASRA Team Challenge Series. Kershaw, SC Carolina Motorsports Park will see a return to action for the Thrashed Bike Racing team. Coming off a podium finish at Round 2, which moved them into second in the Championship, the team is hoping to carry that momentum into a place that had highs and lows last year. Rider, Walt Sipp said, “Last year was my first visit to CMP. It was a pretty fun track and we had a good battle for the lead going on. Unfortunately, I fell and ruined our shot at a win, so I’m looking to come back stronger and more focused this year. We really need to close the gap to the points leader.” Team Principal, Tim Ivanoff added, “The competition this year has been great. We expect the usual suspects to be back at Carolina, but we’re looking forward to the challenge. We had a good run here last year so we’re hoping for one or two positions better this weekend than our 3rd and 4th at the first two rounds.” Walt would like to thank personal sponsors: Bison Racing, KBC Helmets, Arlen Ness, Sidi, Vortex, Zero Gravity, EBC Brakes and EC3D Compression. The team would like to thank: Arrow Aviation Company, Erik Buell Racing, and Avcal Decals for their continued support! Interested parties may contact Tim Ivanoff at [email protected]
