Andy Curro, organizer of the “Airfence Andy Buell Raffle”, told us today that almost half of the 200 raffle tickets have been sold. “I had great fun at New Jersey Motorsports Park this weekend and sold a lot of tickets after promoting the raffle at the riders’ meeting on Saturday.” said Andy. “When I came back home, 5 more were in my mailbox making a total of 80 sold so far. I’m glad to see that they are selling faster now that the race season is getting under way.” The bike up for grabs is a brand new, red 2009 Buell 1125CR. After the expense of the bike has been satisfied, all proceeds will benefit the Roadracing World Action Fund, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting motorcycle racing safety and deploying soft barriers such as Airfence* to prevent race track injuries. Each raffle ticket costs $100, and the drawing will be held shortly after ticket #200 is sold. The winner does not need to be present to win and will be notified by phone. Tickets can be purchased from Andy personally or by mail. Look for him at the NESBA event this weekend, May 8-9, and many other events along the east coast. To buy tickets by mail, send a check or money order for $100 made payable to “Roadracing World Action Fund.” Enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your check and be sure to include your telephone mumber. Mail to: Andy Curro “Airfence Andy” Buell Raffle 43 N. Church St. Mohnton PA 19540 *Trademark of Airfence Safety Systems Australia. Raffle Rules: Winner will be responsible for all applicable taxes, title and fees as well as transportation/pickup of the bike. Quantity 200 raffle tickets to be sold. Chance of winning, one in 200.
