Tickets Go On Sale Next Week For 2012 Red Bull United States Grand Prix At Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Tickets Go On Sale for the 2012 Red Bull United States Grand Prix MotoGP Race Brings Fans Back to Monterey Peninsula MONTEREY, Calif. (October 28, 2011) Beginning Wednesday, November 2 at 8 a.m. PDT MotoGP fans can get their hands on tickets to next year’s Red Bull United States Grand Prix, which is returning to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca July 27-29, 2012. This will be the eighth consecutive year on the Monterey Peninsula for the popular and action-packed race. MotoGP is the world’s premier motorcycling championship with 18 Grand Prix race weekends on three continents bringing an elite list of riders from every corner of the globe atop the world’s leading motorcycle manufacturers such as Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Ducati. With one race to go in the current season Australian Casey Stoner has wrapped up the 2011 Championship, doing so on his birthday at the Australian Grand Prix. Stoner also holds the official lap record for a motorcycle at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca the fastest race lap of 1’22.542″ in 2007 and fastest lap overall of 1’20.700 set in 2008. “I’ve always been happy to go to Mazda Raceway, it’s a tricky little track but it’s something that’s enjoyable,” says Stoner. “For a small track it’s really good and has some character about it so it’s somewhere I enjoy riding. But it’s not only the track it’s the whole area, the atmosphere and I love getting to that part of the world.” Advance purchase general admission tickets range from $25-$45 per day, two-day passes start at $65, three-day $75. Hospitality areas start at $365 per person.
