Tickets On Sale Now For 2008 AMA Superbike Season Finale At Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

From a press release issued by Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca: MONTEREY, Calif. — Teams testing and tickets on sale are two sure signs that the 2008 race season is fast approaching at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. While general admission tickets went on sale last month, Premier Pit Row Suite tickets and Premier and Reserved Camping sites for the Corona AMA Superbike Finale went on sale today (Monday, Jan. 7) via telephone only (800-327-SECA). The Corona AMA Superbike Finale features the season enders for all four AMA classes. Premier Pit Row Suite tickets are $325 and include general admission, paddock pass, access to the Premier Pit Row Suites and paved parking (for car or motorcycle), as well as breakfast, lunch and beverages (beer, wine, soft drinks) on both Saturday and Sunday. Premier Camping, $110 for Friday and Saturday nights, features a reserved site with hook-ups and/or a track view. Reserved camping, $90 for Friday and Saturday nights, has no hook ups or track view. General Admission tickets are only $45 for the weekend ($35 Sunday only) and include free paddock pass, grandstand seating and parking. Monday, Jan. 14 and Tuesday, Jan. 15 mark the first professional running on the track for the 2008 season. Team Honda will have their AMA Superbikes at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for pre-season testing. Riders Miguel DuHamel and Neil Hodgson will be on the track for two days in preparation for the 2008 season. The world-renowned raceway has been operated since its inception by the Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula (SCRAMP), a not-for-profit 501C(4) corporation. Each race season, SCRAMP donates its net proceeds to the volunteer groups that help put on the races.
