(Nov. 10, 2010) “” Infineon Raceway officially opens its ticket office on Monday, Nov. 15, for the 2011 Big O Tires Racing Season, highlighted by the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, IZOD IndyCar® Series and AMA Pro Road Racing. The raceway will feature one of the most comprehensive motor-racing schedules in the country, and race fans can begin purchasing tickets this Monday. The Toyota/Save Mart 350 NACAR Sprint Cup Series highlights the upcoming race season, and it will return to its more traditional date, June 24-26. The race had been held on Father’s Day each of the last two years. In addition to individual race tickets, the raceway will offer a variety of ticket packages to NASCAR in 2011, including the Sonoma 2-Pack, which boasts two reserved tickets for just $99 for race day, June 26. Race fans will want to reserve their tickets soon for the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals, July 29-31. This marks the NHRA’s 60th anniversary and plans are already under way to make this one of the best-ever drag race weekends in Sonoma. The IZOD IndyCar Series takes over the road course August 26-28 for the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma. The cars and stars of the legendary Indianapolis 500 will invade Sonoma for a weekend of high-speed racing. Race tickets will also be available for the West Coast Moto Jam (May 11-15), which features the best in AMA Pro Road Racing, with six main events over the weekend.
