AMA privateer and racer-for-hire Jeremy Toye put on a riding clinic at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, winning four races at the WERA West event, and Elena Myers took two wins and a second in the Nevada desert.

Racing with WERA to promote his shop, Lee’s Cycle in San Diego, Toye took his Dunlop-shod, shop-developed Honda CBR1000RR from well back on the grid to a 1.275-second win over Jeffrey Havlik in the Formula 1 race, turning a best time of 1:17.199 in the eight-lap sprint.

Toye repeated the feat shortly afterward, coming from deep in the field to take a narrow 0.188-second win over Havlik and his Dunlop-shod, Santa Barbara Motorsports-backed Suzuki GSX-R1000 in the A Superbike race.

Toye also showed up on a Dunlop-shod, shop-built Yamaha YZF-R6 owned by one of the Lee’s Cycle employees that kicked out the shop says more than 140 horsepower at the rear wheel. While the suspension was still undeveloped, Toye used that bike to win C Superbike over Kawasaki-backed Elena Myers on a Ninja ZX-6R and the B Superbike race over Angie Loy on a GSX-R750.

Myers took a pair of wins on the weekend. She came from well back in the field to win C Superstock by 2.541 seconds over Robert Tinagero, and even with an off-track excursion won the Mediumweight Solo 20 race on Saturday by 2.983 seconds over Dustin O’Hara.
