Track Claims Overall Attendance Was Down Slightly At Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix At Laguna Seca

Track officials say that the overall, three-day attendance for the 2007 Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca was down slightly compared with the same event in 2006. Official attendance figures released by the track Sunday evening showed overall attendance was down to 143,020 compared with a three-day attendance of 145,120 in 2006. A day-by-day breakdown of the numbers revealed that more spectators were at the track on Friday and Saturday last year, but a few more fans showed up on Sunday this year.
