(March 25, 2009) “” Motorcycle riders are invited to enjoy a high-speed day on the twists and turns of the Infineon Raceway road course, and the best part is that all proceeds from the day will benefit local youth organizations. 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days will host the fund-raiser on Wednesday, April 22, at Infineon Raceway, which will culminate Two Wheel Thunder in Sonoma. Proceeds from the event will benefit youth organizations in Sonoma County through the Sonoma Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities, as well as the North Vallejo Little League, whose home field was vandalized in mid-March. “The 3J’s events have provided me with some of my favorite track day memories and knowing that all of the proceeds go directly to support the local youth makes the day even better,” said Ray Jonathans, a past 3J’s participant. “Infineon Raceway is an awesome track and there is really no way to describe the feeling of railing around The Carousel, but 3J’s gives every rider an opportunity to experience that.” For just $275, participants will enjoy a full day of riding on the 12-turn road course, catered lunch, T-shirt, raffle, and new for this year, an evening reception for all riders. Since 2003, 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days have raised more than $210,000 for worthy causes “” the 3J’s concept was created by Jere Starks, vice president of facilities at Infineon Raceway, and long-time friend Jim Randolph.
