Track day riders will benefit from a wider variety of events, including more weekend dates at popular tracks. Denver, CO – Sportbike Track Time and TrackAddix have announced the formation of a strategic alliance for the joint promotion and marketing of selected events throughout the Midwest, Great Plains, and Mountain regions. This alliance will allow the two companies to offer their customer bases a wider variety of high-quality track day events throughout the regions. Each company will continue to operate as a separate business entity; however they will focus on common goals. Dean Rumfola, an owner of TrackAddix, states, “Our Company has experienced tremendous growth since we began operations in 2003. As our event schedule builds, this alliance will allow us to offer our customers a wider variety of tracks to ride, while still experiencing the same level of safety and service they have become accustom to at a TrackAddix event.” According to Monte Lutz who, with Bonnie Strawser, owns Sportbike Track Time. “This is a great fit because we share philosophies in delivering a great track day experience to all of our customers. Our two firms have plans for future joint ventures and programs that will bring a new level of professionalism and service to the industry.” Bonnie Strawser stated, “We met Dean last fall for the first time and immediately recognized that we all shared common philosophies on hosting well organized, safe and fun track day events. As the conversations continued we realized the many advantages of strategically aligning our companies, which included increased benefits to our customers and sponsors. We intend to pursue co-branding, co-marketing and co-sponsorship opportunities as they arise.” Current plans call for each firm to maintain separate websites that will allow customers to register for events operated by either organization.
