Denver, CO, March 23, 2007 TrackAddix introduces Motorcycle Roadrace Corner Marshal School Curriculum builds skills and knowledge unique to motorcycle roadracing events. TrackAddix is pleased to announce the addition of a Motorcycle Roadrace Corner Marshal School to its instruction program. The school prepares the participant by building skills and knowledge unique to motorcycle roadracing events. If you have watched motorcycle roadracing, you probably have seen Corner Marshals. They are the people dressed in white, stationed around the track closely observing the race. Corner Marshals keep a close eye on the racing action, and when a rider crashes they spring into action. The Marshal displays warning flags, informing the other racers of any hazards and protecting the downed rider. Additional Marshals safely assist the downed rider(s) and clear the track. The Corner Captain coordinates the crew and keeps race control and medical personnel informed via radio. When the track is cleared, the Corner Marshals return to their station and resume watching the action until they are needed again. The TrackAddix school will prepare you by teaching the proper use of warning flags, the specific racing rules related to the flags, how to administer aid to a downed rider and communicate with the Race Control. Get the best seat in the house and watch races up close and personal. The school is taught by Robert Putnam, a 6-year veteran in various motorcycle events and an AMA Certified Corner Marshal, Moto GP (FIM) Corner Marshal, and for the past two years the Track Marshal and Director of Race Control for the TrackAddix Great Plains SuperBike Championship series, sanctioned by CCS. Upon successful completion of the school you will be offered a Corner Marshal position for the TrackAddix GP Superbike Series. You will earn income while utilizing your skills. Be an important part of the action, and play an integral role in the safety and success of an event. TrackAddix is headquartered near Denver, Colorado, and provides motorcycle track days, riding schools, Bridgestone tire sales and support, as well as the sales of parts and accessories for sport motorcyclists. In addition, TrackAddix operates a motorcycle road racing series, known as the TrackAddix GP SuperBike Championship, under a sanctioning agreement with the Championship Cup Series.
