Moose and Theresa Kuykendall’s Trackside Racer’s Supply will distribute Michelin race tires in 2009, Michelin’s Ron Wood confirmed today. Returning a phone call to Roadracingworld.com, Wood said that he had contacted Moose Kuykendall after learning that Trackside Racer’s Supply would no longer be distributing Pirelli race tires. “I said, ‘Moose, what are your plans?'” Wood told Roadracing World. “I think he was real good with customers and we’re real proud to have him as part of the team.” Wood said that the territory assigned to Trackside Racer’s Supply would be determined after a race tire distributor meeting scheduled for the week of January 19th, but would likely be north of Tennessee. At post time, Trackside Racer’s Supply had not returned a phone call requesting comment.
