Travis Wyman to contest MotoAmerica Superstock 600 series with title sponsor Millennium Technologies
TUCSON, Ariz. — Kyle Wyman Racing (KWR) announced today its plans to field Travis Wyman in the 2016 MotoAmerica Superstock 600 championship. Travis will ride the #24 Millennium Technologies/KWR Yamaha YZF-R6.
In 2015, Wyman scored seven podiums, including one victory at Road America. For 2016, the Harv’s Harley-Davidson and Lucas Oil-backed rider plans to contest for the overall championship.
“2015 was a good year for me, but we came up shy in the title chase,” Wyman said. “I’ve got a great group of people supporting me, and I couldn’t be more excited to get the ball rolling. I’ve been training really hard this off season to get ready, and have partnered with a new crew chief out of Next Level Cycles in San Diego. This year could be my year!”
Travis will also compete in this weekend’s opening round of the MotoAmerica Supersport championship, as a wildcard, at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX.
The 2016 Superstock 600 series will kick off at Road Atlanta, April 15-17, 2016.
