TRAXXION DYNAMICS STARTS PRODUCTION OF R-6 TANK SLIDER FOLLOWING OFFICIAL WERA RULE 

Traxxion Dynamics has begun production of their Yamaha R-6 Gas Tank Slider, following an email confirmation from Sean Clarke that WERA would require all 2006-2007 Yamaha R-6s to have side gas tank protection in order to pass technical inspection and compete. The Traxxion sliders have been crash tested multiple times, and have never yielded the ever so common gas tank rupture. You can actually see one sliding on the ground on “The Crash Page” where Chris Peris crashed trying to avoid a sliding Geoff May after he crashed at the top of the corkscrew during the Laguna Seca Supersport race. 

Please encourage your sanctioning body to follow WERA’s lead and require this critical safety device on all R-6s.
