TSE Racing Riders Win ASRA/CCS Races At Blackhawk Farms Raceway

TSE Racing kicked off the Midwest CCS racing season at Blackhawk Farms
Raceway this past weekend. The team had a full house with 6 riders
competing in various races throughout the weekend.

The most notable effort came from Nate Minster. After leaving Road
America with MotoAmerica 2 weeks ago securing two, fourth place finishes
and sitting second in the Supersport championship, Nate came into the
weekend with lots of confidence. Racing his backup bike this weekend,
while testing a new set of Ohlins forks, the team had some setup issues
to sort through as the weekend started. The first race for Nate was the
GTU race, which he utilize that as a practice, coming in multiple times
to make changes. Saturdays sprints came with 2 wins in Middleweight
Superbike and Supersport. In the ASRA Sportbike qualifying, Nate put his
Yamaha R6 on pole with a 1:09.6. In Middleweight Supersport race, which
was a Yamaha contingency race, Nate had a 4 second lead with 2 laps to
go. On the last lap he had a motor failure, but Nate managed to limp the
bike home and still win the race. This brought a close to the day and he
was unable to race the ASRA Sportbike race. All in all, the weekend was
a success. Now the team gets the primary bike ready to go back to Road
America for the second MotoAmerica round.

Despite Nate not competing in the ASRA Sportbike race, TSE Racing still
managed to sweep the podium with 3 of our other riders. Carl Soltisz
winning, Jonathan Schweiger finishing 2nd and Charles Burton IV rounding
out the podium in 3rd.
