‘MOTORCYCLE MANIA’ SET TO LAUNCH NOVEMBER 7 AT 8PM EST ON radX TORONTO, Ont. The countdown is on to the debut of ‘Parts Canada Motorcycle Mania’ on radX Monday, November 7, at 8pm EST. ‘Parts Canada Motorcycle Mania’, sponsored by BMW Motorrad Canada and Deeley Harley Davidson, is a two and a half hour block of dedicated motorcycle racing coverage on radX each Monday night at 8pm EST. The two wheeled programming window includes High Definition of coverage of the Canadian Superbike Championship by Parts Canada and the second season of the award winning documentary series ‘Ultimate Superbike’. The Canadian Superbike Championship coverage is a co-production between Professional Motorsports Productions (PMP) and WhistleStop Productions. PMP has handled TV coverage of the Canadian Superbike Championship since 1994. Whistlestop Productions has been the creator of numerous motorcycle motorsports series over the past 22 years including the long running magazine program, Motorcycle Experience. “Viewers are in for a real treat with our coverage of the Canadian Superbike Championship,” said Colin Fraser of PMP. “Motorcycle road racing is a sport that really lends itself to the high definition experience and I think we will open some eyes with our coverage.” The race coverage will include flag-to-flag action from the featured Parts Canada Superbike class, plus the Harley-Davidson XR1200 Cup and Pirelli Pro Sport Bike divisions. ‘Ultimate Superbike’ documents the radX / BMW Motorrad Canada factory Superbike team as it contests the national tour. The series debuted last summer to the highest ratings ever on radX. “‘Ultimate Superbike’ provides a ‘fly-on-the-wall’ perspective of the passion, hard work and determination that goes into creating a top Superbike team,” said David Hatch, who along with his partner Stacey Hatch are executive producers at WhistleStop Productions. “Our appreciation goes out to the radX/BMW Motorrad Canada team members for letting us tell the true story of what happens during the racing season at the factory racing team level especially off the track and in the pit,” said Stacey Hatch. This represents the 17th straight season of television coverage of the Canadian Superbike Championship by Parts Canada. Sponsorship comes from BMW Motorrad Canada and Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada. BMW Motorrad Canada is now in its second year of running a factory Pro Superbike team while Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada is title sponsor of the XR1200 Cup as well as the Ruthless Racing team.
