TEXAS CHAMPIONS UNITE AT DUCATI AUSTIN ON JUNE 16. Four Time World and AMA Champion Doug Polen and Three Time AMA Flattrack and AMA Superbike Champion Bubba Shobert will be on hand for autographs at Ducati Austin, Austin Texas June 16 from 5-6 pm, and will attend a Ducati-oriented track day on the following Wednesday 17th. Doug Polen, 2 X World Superbike Champion 1991 and 1992 World Superbike Champion, Doug Polen is credited with racking up the most wins in a season. Polen is also the 1993 AMA Superbike Champion and ’97 and ’98 World Endurance Champion. He currently teaches riding techniques at his One-on-One schools across the U.S. Bubba Shobert, 1985-’87 AMA Grand National Champion 1988 AMA Superbike Champion 1986, ’87 AMA Pro Athlete of the Year. He is currently grooming both of his sons, Clint and Cole Shobert to follow in his footsteps. Following the meet and greet in the store, the the Champions will head down for a private session at Harris Hill Road Road Course (HHR) in San Marcos Texas to turn some laps and give a review of the track. In addition Polen will be reviewing the 2010 Ducati Streetfighter.
