​Two-Time And Defending Daytona 200 Champion Eslick Arrested In Florida (Updated)

Danny Eslick, a four-time AMA National Champion road racer and the two-time and defending Champion of the Daytona 200, was arrested Monday, March 7 and booked into jail just after midnight Tuesday, March 8 in Volusia County, Florida, where Daytona Beach is located.

According to information included with the booking photo, Eslick, age 29, was charged with “Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer.”

Eslick is due to ride a TOBC Racing Yamaha in the 75th running of the Daytona 200, scheduled for Saturday, March 12 at Daytona International Speedway.
