FIRST PERSON/OPINION Via e-mail: Hope all is good with you. I’ve just completed full medical checks and a total of 3 surgeries up here at Dr. Ting’s in Fremont, California for torn ligaments and tendons in my left shoulder, scaffoid damage and bone separation in my right wrist that required the bones to be fused, also had tendons repaired in my bad hip and 33cc of nasty fluid drained! Lastly I was knocked out for 16 minutes in the crash and CT scans revealed I had bruising and bleeding on the brain which will need to be reviewed over the next few weeks with no dangerous activity for the next 6 to 8 weeks leaving me to most likely to miss the rest of the season! If I didn’t have bad luck I wouldn’t have any at all! Ha ha… Anyways just wanted to let you know my wife and I have started a visual diary and video channel on my website johnhopkins21.com (~http://www.johnhopkins21.com/~) with updates every week regarding my road to recovery and plans for my future . If you wanted to put up a link or post that would be great! Thanks man and talk to ya soon. John “Hopper” Hopkins Ramona, California
