Rojo Racing’s Jason Perez consulted with his Orthopedic Surgeon today after injuries sustained in a crash at Miller Motorsport Raceway last weekend. Dr. Emma Woodhouse is the surgeon responsible for the reconstruction of Jason’s shattered elbow as a result of a crash he had in April 2005. Although there is massive swelling to the tissue surrounding his elbow and hand, there are no signs of any broken bones. The plate in his left elbow is still well attached with no signs of damage to any of the surrounding bones. Dr. Woodhouse has given Jason the green light to proceed with physical therapy and with a little luck he’ll be ready for round seven at Laguna Seca Raceway.
