ANDREA DOVIZIOSO MAKES STAR APPEARANCE AT KOPRON HQ Andrea Dovizioso yesterday visited the headquarters of Kopron, the Italian Logistics Solutions company which joined the Repsol Honda Team as a valued partner in June this year. Dovizioso’s appearance at the offices in Gorgonzola, Milan, coincided with the presentation of Kopron’s new Honda collection: logistic solutions such as sectional and folding doors and permanent and retractable warehouses tailored to the needs of car and motorcycle dealers. Kopron is Italy’s leading Logistics Solutions company, specialising in warehouses, doors and loading bays – and now moving into the area of solar power – a new business venture into photovoltaic systems which is promoted with the “Kopron Energy” logos on the factory Honda RC212V MotoGP machines ridden by Dovizioso and his team-mate Dani Pedrosa. Kopron became involved in motorcycle racing in 2004 as a sponsor for current Repsol Honda rider Andrea Dovizioso. Andrea Dovizioso “It’s always a pleasure to visit my friends at Kopron and I couldn’t miss this important occasion for them. Kopron is more than a partner for me, and they have supported me since I began my motorcycle racing career in 2004. We have many things in common in our outlook: the search of perfection, professionalism and the determination to reach our targets.” More, from another press release issued by Repsol Honda: ANDREA DOVIZIOSO OPENS NEW REPSOL FUEL STATIONS Repsol Honda Team rider Andrea Dovizioso was the guest of honour at the opening of two Repsol fuel stations last week as the title sponsor of the factory Honda team continues to expand its presence in Italy. The Italian MotoGP star joined fans, local dignitaries and Repsol officials at the new facilities, first at Castel Bolognese (RA) and then at San Giovanni in Persiceto, which is the sixth fuel station Repsol has built in its entirety in Italy and adds to Repsol’s nationwide count of more than 150 fuel stations. At Castel Bolognese, Dovizioso was joined on the garage forecourt by members of the Imola Basketball team who play in the A2 national series. Dovizioso has now returned to his home in Forli to make final preparations before embarking on the intensive MotoGP schedule of three Grands Prix on three consecutive weekends in Japan, Malaysia and Australia. Andrea Dovizioso “It was great to meet the fans and our par tners at Repsol, and events like this remind you of all the hard work and enthusiasm that helps to support our team. The first petrol station we visited at Castel Bolognese is just around 15 to 20 minutes from where I live and it’s interesting to see how fast the Repsol project in Italy is growing. We also visited the fuel station at San Giovanni in Persiceto which was entirely built by Repsol Italia. It’s a completely new station and it has many facilities – as we are used to seeing at the Repsol stations in Spain.”
