Portland, OR – Local dealers and manufacturers are set to unveil the 2008 lines of motorcycles at the first ever Portland International Motorcycle Show. The show is set to appear at the Portland Expo Center this December 8 and 9. If you are in the market for a new motorcycle this is the show to attend. View hundreds of sport bikes, cruisers, motocross bikes, quads, scooters and side by sides on display from major manufacturers such as Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, plus European brands such as Ducati, Aprilia and MV Augusta and of course the American manufacturers such as Harley Davidson and Victory. Portland is one of the few major cities without a major new motorcycle showcase; now this December a new trend begins and motorcycle aficionados from all over Oregon and Southwest Washington will have the largest show of its kind to attend. “It was time that motorcycle enthusiasts got a show of their own, I’m excited to present the first ever Portland International Motorcycle Show,” said Jason Wilson, producer. “Motorcycles are a significant part of life in the Pacific Northwest and the Portland International Motorcycle Show is the best place to see all the newest models whether you are new to motorcycling or a seasoned pro. Portland and Southwest Washington is home to many great roads, tracks, dirt trails and sand dunes which makes this show ideal for the motorcycle and powersports enthusiast. We also know that more people are taking advantage of the fuel economy of motorcycles due to the national hike in fuel prices,” noted Wilson. The Portland International Motorcycle Show will be the ideal place to shop and compare new 2008 makes and models, as well as get year-end deals on 2007 stock, plus grab the latest parts, apparel and accessories. We are pleased to host great local vendors including: Bob Lanphere’s Beaverton Honda, Factory Motorsports, Love Leathers, MotoCorsa, Corazzo Design, and many more. Patrons can also expect great door giveaways at the show such as leather jackets, helmets, gloves and some great motorcycle accessories. There will be motorcycle safety demonstrations, information about motorcycle certification and plenty of local experts on hand to answer questions about motorcycling. The inaugural Portland International Motorcycle Show presented by SDS Performance and powered by Cascade Tracktime makes it debut December 8 & 9, 2007 at the Portland Expo Center. Show hours are Saturday: 10:00am – 8:00pm & Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm. For more visit www.portlandmotorcycleshow.com.
