The AMA Superbike warm-up session Sunday morning at Road America was stopped by rain with about 11:25 left in the 30-minute practice. After a short delay, the session was restarted, and most riders took advantage of the wet track time. One exception, however, was Ben Spies, who did not ride the wet conditions. Mat Mladin was the fastest rider in the dry and the wet parts of the session. Just before noon local time a heavy rain shower hit Road America.
