CROZIER ROBERSON MOTORSPORTS READY TO PUT THEIR DNA ENERGY DRINK DUCATIS IN THE SPOTLIGHT Daytona Beach, Fla…Heading across country for the second time this season, Crozier Roberson Motorsports are ready to put their DNA Energy Drink Ducati’s in the spotlight when the West Coast Monster Jam thunders into action at Infineon Raceway, May 14-16, in Sonoma, Calif. Showcasing the talents of DNA Energy Drink pilots Bobby Fong (Stockton, Calif.) and Michael Beck (Simi Valley, Calif.) in AMA Pro Daytona SportBike and Joey Pascarella (Vacaville, Calif.) in AMA Pro SuperSport, Crozier Roberson Motorsports now boasts an all California rider lineup. “Some of the very best road racers in the world have came from California,” says team manager and co-owner Mark Crozier. Names like Wayne Rainey, Kenny Roberts, Gene Romero, David Aldana, Steve McLaughlin and many others have all hailed from the “Golden State”. We want to be able to take our team to the top and with the addition of Michael (Beck) and Joey (Pascarella); we feel we have a great combination.” All three riders are excited to be returning to Infineon. Last season, both Fong and Beck rode both Daytona SportBike rounds at Infineon with Fong taking a 13th and 9th place finish and Beck scoring a 12th and 11th. This time out they both want to be in the front of the pack. Pascarella has only ridden at Infineon once, in 2008 in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, where he scored a 6th place finish out of a field of 23. “I’m definitely looking forward to this race,” says Pascarella, who currently holds a commanding lead in AMA Pro Supersport West. “So far I have scored three wins and one second place finish. I would like to make this my first win for Crozier Roberson Motorsports and DNA Energy Drink. I really like Infineon and think we should do well this time out.” “It seems ages since our last race,” says Bobby Fong, who currently sits in 10th in the point standings. “I got to do a lot of riding at the test at Jennings and I am eager to get back on my DNA Energy Drink Ducati. Being in 10th is not where I want to be and I have no intention of staying there. It’s full bore ahead.” Equally as eager to get on the track is, Michael Beck. “I’m definitely excited,” says Beck with obvious enthusiasm. The DNA Energy Drink Ducati is an awesome machine and I can’t wait to get on the track. Everyone on the Crozier Roberson Motorsports team is all about winning and they are totally dedicated. With their attitude and hard work, victory lane is right there.” “Everything is ready,” sums up co-owner Robbie Roberson. “We have three top riders, an excellent crew and top of the line machines. All we need is the green flag and we will be on our way.” Crozier Roberson Motorsports is sponsored by: DNA Energy Drink, Quality Brands, Inc., Arai Helmets, Race Tech, Motion Pro, Pit Bull, EBC Brakes, EK, Melillimoto Ducati, Moto-Heaven.com, XES, Thrust Company, HEL, Woodcraft, Armour Bodies, Puma, Held Gloves, GP Tech, Active, Zero Gravity and Christopher Bean Coffee. More, from a press release issued by Mojotown PR: Mazda Technologies Sponsors Cameron Beaubier for the Infineon Round of AMA Pro Racing during the West Coast Moto Jam at Infineon Raceway Mazda Technologies, more commonly known for providing ripping fast servers to the nation’s best industry clients, is now stepping in to provide a ripping fast ride as the Title Sponsor for Redbull Rookie standout, Cameron Beaubier. Cameron will be riding the Mazda Technologies Yamaha R6 coupled with support from Beaubier Racing and Rockwall Performance. The SuperSport series will be one of the many exciting races to watch this coming weekend at Infineon Raceway’s West Coast Moto Jam. The weekend is packed with events ranging from Road Racing to Super Moto, Motocross, and even a hint of flat tracking. The Mazda Technologies Racing effort is a sponsorship headed up by owner Shawn Herrera, a former AMA and 250 Class Champion with the AFM. Under Shawn’s guidance, Mazda Technologies Racing focuses on young students who are devoted to excellence both on and off the track. “We value the importance of education and try to deliver that message through high academic standards and exposure to higher education. Our firm stance is “good students make smart decisions and thus excellent riders”. With a higher ability to learn and achieve, our riders find it easier to learn tracks, convey bike issues, and use brain over brawn to win races”, states Herrera. Shawn met a very young Cameron Beaubier in 2005 at the ripe age of 12 while he was testing an entry level ’96 Honda RS125 at Thunderhill Raceway. Shawn was immediately impressed with Cam’s natural talent. With just a few veteran tips and some insider track knowledge from Herrera, Cam quickly joined the small “under 2 minute 125 riders club”. A couple of years later, with a season of the elite Redbull Rookie’s series under his belt and some European racing aboard a KTM, Cam would come back to Thunderhill Raceway to break the 125 lap record, which he still holds. Over the years, Shawn has stayed involved in Cam’s racing and sponsored him for some local and national races. “Working with Cam is a delight. He’s smart and articulate; a great team player and a gifted rider” says Herrera. Shawn was thrilled to see Cam accepted into the Rookies Cup in Europe, but missed seeing him at the local events. Cameron is currently racing the East Coast Supersport Series with Rockwall Performance, but he wanted to head home to Northern California to give friends, family, and local fans the opportunity to watch him race. Herrera says, “it is most fitting that a good student like Cam, ‘Camarón Diablo’ (The devil shrimp, as Herrera warmly refers to Cameron, a nick name given to Cam before his growth spurt) be sponsored by a technology company, at a technology company’s racetrack.” Mazda Technologies is national IT company specializing in Hardware and Software for the small business to the enterprise and scientific markets. It’s something that can affect us all. I want people to be sure they or the women in their lives are up to speed on what is needed to prevent more lives from being lost. Early detection and screenings are the key. There is a lot of good info out there and I encourage people to check out websites like Susan G. Komen For The Cure® (www.komen.org) and talk to their doctors.” Nash, who has earned four straight podium finishes in the last AMA Pro SuperSport races, will donate half his Infineon Raceway purse to Susan G. Komen For The Cure® . “For me, I think it is a good tribute to my mother. I think that organization does a great job and is very active. If others wish to help support them as well, I think it would be great,” said Nash, who is 17 years old. Nash’s LTD Racing Yamaha R6 will wear a special decal designed by artist Chris Kruzel of Drippin’ Wet. Huntley will have more stickers available at the LTD Racing pit for other racers who want to join him and place the decals on their own bikes this weekend at Infineon Raceway. More, from a press release issued by Team Roadracingworld.com Suzuki: VILLA RETURNS TO ACTION AT SONOMA Veteran racer Santiago Villa will compete at this weekend’s AMA Pro Racing event at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA. The multi-time Colombian champion was forced to miss the Road Atlanta event after he broke his collarbone for the second time this season at Auto Club Speedway earlier this year. Villa will once again race his #32 Roadracingworld.com Suzuki. “It’s great to finally race again,” said the gritty competitor. “I lost the chance to race at Road Atlanta, a track that I like a lot, but now I’m 100% and ready to race again. Infineon Raceway is a track that I also like a lot and I can’t wait to be back with my crew, working hard and trying to go fast.”
