Pikes Peak International Raceway has reopened for non-spectator events and expects to host MRA motorcycle races in 2009. That’s the word from PPIR Track Rental Manager Mike Hubbard, who told Roadracingworld.com that the track has already hosted a NASA car event and has been in touch with MRA officials. It will be the final round of racing for the 2008 MRA season. There will be sprint and endurance races on Saturday and sprint races on Sunday. For 2008 the MRA has also added a new class for the women only called Ladies of the Rockies.
